About pooja
Why Do Problems Keep Arising Despite Your Efforts?
Is your marriage getting delayed again and again?
Are you continuously facing obstacles related to childbirth?
Are you not seeing growth in your career, business, or financial matters?
Just when one problem gets resolved, does another one begin?
According to traditional astrological and Sanatana beliefs, certain recurring obstacles in life may be associated with Sarpa Dosha, Naga Dosha, or unfavorable planetary influences. Among the special rituals performed to seek relief from such doshas, Ashlesha Bali Puja holds a significant place as a form of worship dedicated to the Naga Devatas.
What is Ashlesha Bali Puja?
Ashlesha Bali is a ritual dedicated to the worship of Naga Devatas and is associated with Ashlesha Nakshatra. The presiding deities of Ashlesha Nakshatra are traditionally associated with serpents.
During this puja, the Naga Devatas are invoked, a symbolic serpent form is worshipped, special mantras are chanted, and traditional offerings are made. Devotees perform this puja seeking peace from Sarpa-related doshas, family well-being, blessings for progeny, and relief from obstacles in life.
What is Performed During Ashlesha Bali Puja?
Before beginning the puja, a Sankalpa is performed with the devotee's name, Gotra, and the purpose of the puja.
A symbolic serpent form is then prepared at the puja location, and Shesha Naga and the Naga Devatas are worshipped according to traditional rituals.
The priests chant mantras associated with the Naga Devatas and offer ghee, rice, and wheat-based offerings. The puja is then completed with Bali offering, Mangala Harati, and prayers.
Ashlesha Bali for Progeny & Marriage
According to traditional beliefs, Ashlesha Bali is performed as a spiritual remedy when there are delays in childbirth, obstacles in marriage, or recurring difficulties in family life.
Devotees pray to the Naga Devatas for blessings of progeny, removal of marriage-related obstacles, and peace and harmony in family life.
For Career & Financial Growth
This puja is also performed when efforts do not yield the desired results, when there is a lack of career growth, obstacles in business, or continuing financial difficulties.
Devotees seek the blessings of the Naga Devatas for removal of obstacles, professional progress, financial stability, and success.
Why Perform Ashlesha Bali on Ashlesha Nakshatra?
Ashlesha Nakshatra is traditionally considered auspicious for the worship of the Naga Devatas. Therefore, performing Ashlesha Bali on Ashlesha Nakshatra is considered especially significant.
